Meet Our Team

Dentists

Dr. Joseph and Dr. Ilenne Noetzel, D.D.S.

Drs. Joseph and Ilenne Noetzel graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry and each have more than 20 years of clinical experience. They also both completed a one year postdoctoral general practice residence in Chicago, IL with an emphasis in oral medicine and complex dental rehabilitation.

Both doctors spend more than 100 hours a year learning the latest techniques and materials to help their patients’ oral health care needs. They believe dentistry is both an art and a science.

Dr. Ilenne Noetzel, D.D.S.

Dr. Ilenne believes that dentistry is more than a transaction—it’s spending time helping those she cares for become healthy. That’s why she loves creating meaningful, lasting relationships with her patients. She hopes to help her patients understand that they are in complete control of their health, and that the decisions they make now will affect their future in a tangible way. Dr. Ilenne is certified in ReCODE 2.0.

In her spare time, Dr. Ilenne enjoys reading, organizing, and traveling with the family.

Dr. Joseph Noetzel, D.D.S.

Dr. Joe feels honored to be able to have a meaningful and significant impact on his patients’ oral and complete health and to work with the amazing and dedicated Ashland Dental and Wellness Center team members. He is passionate about discovering the root causes of dental disease and sharing his knowledge with his patients so they can reduce and eliminate their risk of chronic dental and overall disease.

In his spare time, Dr. Joe enjoys spending time with their children, exercise and wellness, and live music events.

Dr. Joe and Dr. Ilenne are members of:

Dr. Duane Wolff, D.D.S.

Dr. Duane Wolff is a native of the south suburbs, Dr. Wolff began practicing as an associate in Tinley Park and Homewood from 1983 until 2005. After completing his Undergraduate studies at Loyola University of Chicago and receiving a BA in Chemistry in 1979, Dr. Wolff then attended the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry. In 1983 he attained his DDS degree.

Dr. Wolff’s focus is on outstanding patient care. He is committed to continuing education.

Dr. Wolff is very avid in outdoor activities. He and his family enjoy camping, fishing, and water sports. They spend time traveling and when they are home, enjoy cooking and gardening.

Dr. Wolff is a member of:

Dr. Michael B. Fagan, D.D.S.

Dr. Mike Fagan has practiced dentistry in Chicago Heights since 1979, after graduating from the Loyola University School of Dentistry. His favorite part of dentistry is spending time with great people, staff, and patients.

For more than 40 years, Dr. Fagan has worked to treat his patients in a caring and pleasant manner, understanding that each person has individual needs that require his full attention. He hopes to help his patients understand that their mouths will get out the effort that they put in.

Dr. Fagan is a member and past president of the Chicago Heights Lions Club and serves on the Chicago Dental Society Mediation and Peer Review committees. He is an active member of the St. James Hospital Regional Board, having served four years as its chairman.

He is the father of four children and enjoys spending his free time with his grandchildren, playing golf, and doing photography.

Dr. Michael Fagan

Registered Dental Hygienists

Michelle

Michelle enjoys helping patients achieve a beautiful, healthy smile. She’s seen first-hand how treatments for bacteria and inflammation in the mouth (like PerioProtect) and screening for sleep apnea can help support a healthy body and enable patients to enjoy greater health.

Michelle loves to bake and cook for family and friends.

Margo

Margo’s favorite part of her job is seeing the transformation in patients’ smiles and lives. As the oral-systemic connection is appearing in dentistry and medical professions, she is proud to help patients understand the connection between their mouth and the rest of their body.

Margo enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and traveling when she’s not in the office.

Laurie

Laurie loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and teaching them how to achieve the best oral hygiene possible. She wants patients to know that you are what you eat! Overall health is key to keeping all of your teeth, and keeping your teeth and gums clean makes your whole body healthier.

Laurie finds joy spending time with her husband and daughter and enjoys scuba diving and gardening.

 

Barb

Barb

Barb brings expertise and passion for dental health to the Ashland Dental team. She loves it when someone decides to change their smile, and witnessing the end result of how happy they are when it’s finished. Barb believes that most people need to be educated about taking care of their teeth and how it affects their whole body; that brushing, flossing, and seeing the dentist two times a year affects their overall health. When she’s not at work taking excellent care of her patients, Barb enjoys bird watching, biking, walking, listening to audiobooks. She loves spending time with her granddaughter and playing with her cat Kiki.

 

 

Dental Assistants

Amanda

Amanda’s favorite thing about dentistry is improving people’s lives and building relationships with patients. She wants patients to know that no matter their current oral condition, it is never too late to get on the right track and stay there for the rest of their life.

Amanda enjoys crafting, baking, cycling, going out to eat, and spending time with her family.

Ana

With over 30 years of experience, Ana loves connecting with people and helping them feel less nervous about coming to the dentist. She enjoys seeing how people look and feel after treatment and is committed to helping people understand the dangers of oral bacteria.

Ana enjoys watching TV, shopping, and going to family parties.

Teresa

Teresa likes to help others by helping them get healthy and become happy through the process. She wants to share the knowledge that your mouth is connected to your body with all of her patients. What affects your mouth affects your entire body.

Since learning about complete health, Teresa has started working out, which she’d never done before!

Jessica

Jessica enjoys changing the way people think about their teeth and giving them new ways to improve and maintain their smile. She likes to help her patients learn about the importance of oral health and how it relates to and impacts the rest of their body.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys having a relaxing glass of white wine.

Front Desk

Lauren – Office Manager, Accounts Manager

Lauren loves helping patients create a beautiful, healthy smile that fits into their lifestyle. She knows the mouth is the gateway for harmful bacteria to enter the body, so she’s excited to share with Ashland’s patients the importance of oral health.

In Lauren’s free time she enjoys watching her kids compete in basketball and volleyball.

Blanca – Scheduling Coordinator

Blanca loves to see the change in confidence patients have when they are pleased with their new smile. She is thrilled that the Ashland Dental and Wellness Center teaches patients about the strong correlation between gum disease and other health issues.

Blanca enjoys reading and watching good TV shows and movies.

Dolores – Insurance Coordinator

Dolores enjoys interacting with patients and having the opportunity to learn new things. She likes to help patients learn how important it is to visit the dentist regularly and how maintaining good oral health can benefit their overall health.

In her free time, Dolores enjoys exercising.

Nadia – Recare Coordinator

Nadia’s favorite part of working at Ashland Dental and Wellness Center is giving people the confidence to show their smile. She loves making patients feel welcome and comfortable when they come in the door.

Nadia enjoys playing with her dog and spending time with family and friends.

Sue

Sue – Director of First Impressions

Sue enjoys serving our patients and educating them on the importance of flossing. When asked what her favorite part of dentistry is, she said, “Greeting and talking to patients.” Sue shares the same philosophies as our dentists and our entire office about complete health dentistry, that oral hygiene is extremely important for your overall health. Sue takes efficient and practical care of her patients, and in her spare time she loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Jen –  Director of First Impressions

Jen is a great addition to our well trained and passionate staff. Her favorite part of dentistry is being able to assist patients in getting the best oral care possible. Jen’s mission is to help patients understand how important it is to take care of your teeth for your overall health. Outside the office, she loves spending time with her family and friends.

Laura Front Desk

Jasmin – Front Desk

Jasmin’s favorite part of her job is having the support to learn new things and being able to work in such a supportive environment. Although new to the field of dentistry, she’s excited to learn and grow in her craft.

Outside of work she loves being a mom and spending time with her kids, especially doing arts and crafts and trying new things as a family. She’s passionate about working hard for her kids.

Louis – Office Mascot

Louis is a 2 year old yorkie who loves to get his teeth brushed.
He enjoys playing with tennis balls and his mommy.
